IN-HOUSE PROJECT
PROBLEM
Today, social media and content platforms promote information overload and misinformation, making it difficult to discern what information is reliable and relevant.
On the other hand, small creators often face challenges in building an audience and monetizing their content.
MY ROLE
As the lead Product Designer, my role revolves around designing and making decisions based on user needs analysis to propose relevant improvements and functionalities. Additionally, I strive to strike a balance between user needs and business objectives, while also working to reduce development timelines.
DESIGN PROCESS
We have followed a research-driven approach, conducting user analysis and design testing to iterate and continuously improve the experience. From the discovery phase to implementation, we have sought to understand user needs and adapt our solutions accordingly, always maintaining a balance between usability and aesthetics.
SOLUTION
Mamby is born with the mission of providing a platform where the quality of information, user experience, and a safe environment are prioritized. Creators are rewarded for their work, while visitors enjoy enriching content.
THE EDITOR
A blank canvas that fuels creativity, allowing creators to freely and unrestrictedly bring their vision to life. From captivating text to immersive images, compelling videos, and thrilling music, Mamby's editor provides all the necessary tools to express oneself with freedom.
CREATOR'S PANEL
A dedicated space for analyzing and researching the reach of your posts, providing valuable insights into their performance and reach. Additionally, creators can discover how much they have monetized to date, allowing for precise tracking of economic achievements.
DESIGN SYSTEM
To ensure platform growth, we have developed an adaptable design system that evolves according to project needs. Built on a set of dynamic components and styles, this system enables the combination of elements to create diverse flows and scenarios. We utilized Figma for its construction and zeroheight for documentation.
CHALLENGES
Some of the challenges I encountered in this project included transitioning to a freemium model, balancing revenue generation and user experience, as well as attracting users in a saturated market with lesser-known creators.
